As a culinary critic focusing on Austrian cuisine and a family man hailing from Vienna, I embarked on a stay at Gasthaus & Hotel Backhendlstation with my loved ones. Our experience was marked by welcoming staff, including the endearing gesture of offering me a beer upon my late arrival. The family-friendly atmosphere was evident as all children under 3 years were warmly accommodated, making our stay stress-free. The quaint gardens at the back provided a delightful setting for our meals, adding a touch of tranquility to our family dinners.The central location was ideal for exploring the town on foot, easily accessible even with little ones in tow. While the morning coffee may have needed a personal touch to suit my taste, the simple yet fulfilling breakfast spread catered to everyone's needs. Despite the language barrier, the staff's kindness shone through, ensuring a pleasant experience for all. Our restful nights were thanks to the comfortable beds, allowing us to recharge for another day of family adventures.
